Victim Mindset vs. Creator Mindset

For the last few weeks, we’ve been discussing the differences between the creator mindset and the victim mindset. To my surprise, I found that there have been times when I had to admit that I succumbed to the victim mindset. What am I going to do?

Victim Mindset

The Victim mindset doesn’t take responsibility or accountability for themselves. They blame others for their

Problems
Issues
Short comings

They chose to hide from new opportunities to change. They would rather turn and walk away than move forward.

In reality, it’s easier to go through the daily routine and talk about the issues of the day. Instead of solving the issues of the day. It’s easier to talk about the problem and provide no solution.

I believe those who have the victim mindset need to have these things because it gives them

Comfort
Control
Complacency in their complaining

I would go out on a limb and say

Some need this problem to be needed
Some are affirmed or enabled in their victim mentality

I had to learn this while teaching it to my scholars. In this lesson, I learned that I took on this mentality too often. But what to do?

Creator Mindset

On the other hand. To be a creator. To have an originator mentality is different. A creator sees a problem. He doesn’t repeat it to others over, and over again. If she’s a creator, she’s not going to blame the algorithm for the lack of views.

A creator creates!!
A creator makes opportunities
A creator translates something negative and make it positive

Jn creation God saw a problem

There was darkness
Chaos
A void

He solved it by simply saying

Let there be light.

In teaching this lesson. I had to take ownership of myself and my outcomes. We have to look around our communities and have a creator mindset. Have the creator mindset. No longer blaming others. No longer looking for problems to repeat and report. Let’s create opportunities to serve humanity.

Write the book
Start the business
Lend a helping hand
Love again!

We are blessed to be a blessing to others. Have a creator mindset and bet on yourself to be the change!

Conclusion

I know this is short. But I had to share. Which mindset do you have? Let’s talk about it.
