You Can’t be All things to All People

Well, that’s what my Dad would tell me. But it’s easier said than done. As I was teaching a session on listening to the Inner Guide instead of hyper-focusing on the Inner Critic. didn’t realize how important that simple phrase is until I began to lead others.

The Inner Critic

The Inner Critic is a voice that judges us as inadequate.

Have you ever felt inadequate?

Or

You felt as if you weren’t good enough.

That’s the inner critic. As I was telling the class. It accepts too much responsibility and blames us for whatever goes wrong in our lives. Even the things we have no control over.

We have to be careful about taking on other people’s

Issues
Energy
Time

You have your own goals and aspirations to reach.

Believe it or not

You are more than a conqueror…

You have things to address and accomplish. So it’s time to silence your Inner Critic.

The Inner Guide

The still small voice. The voice that gives you the impartial truth. The voice that shares facts over feelings. This is our Inner guide.

We are called to make the best out of any situation. Yes, we will win some. But you don’t lose anything. It’s about perseverance, and having the right perspective.

Conclusion

The reality is we spend a lot of time listening to external voices, and not our inner guide. Resulting in us trying to be

All things to all people

You can only be you. And I know you do it well. Talk to you later.
